Environmental Educator |
science Engagement Specialist | Native Bee Enthusiast | Citizen Science Advocate

I was always the kid rescuing Christmas Beetles and Bogong Moths from inside the house. A fascination of science, biodiversity and conservation, and a curiosity for creating sustainable futures led to me achieve a Bachelor of Science (Honours) majoring in Human Geography from the University of Wollongong in 2005.

Since then I have spent almost twenty years managing environmental education and science engagement programs for local Councils, state government, NGOs and independently.

I thrive on coordinating programs reaching thousands of people, like the Australian Museum’s Sydney Science Trail, Invertebrate Australia and the Invasive Species Council’s citizen science Bug Hunt project and Shellharbour City Council’s Sustainable Shellharbour program.

I have the privilege of living and creating on Dharawal Country. I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this special place between the Illawarra escarpment and the sea now known as Wollongong. I pay respects to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all First Nations people living in the region.
